Career in Solar Industry:

The solar industry potential has been predicted for a long time. With the changing attitude of people across the globe, there are many people having the go green attitude. Also, people are widely accepting the solar energy as best alternative energy source, making the green collar qualified people lead successful career path without being affect with the global economic conditions.

There has been a constant demand of solar based jobs and even the welders, roofers, electricians, architects, general contractors and many more building professionals can get themselves trading for the solar jobs and grab the opportunity rather than struggling in the current economic career crisis. For increasing the demand of the solar industry, the companies involved in these prestigious projects want personnel who can give marketing advice, valuable advertising ideas, internet marketing strategies, business advice and people who have thorough knowledge about digital marketing and other related aspects.

As the solar field is completely different from the regular energy field, there are several courses that an explain the solar related marketing strategy, business strategy, marketing plans, marketing ideas, internet advertising strategy so that such training can help an individual to understand the intricacies of this industry.

The honorable green jobs not only give an opportunity to the technicians as well as engineers, but are also beneficial to the finance and market professionals, giving them a great opportunity in the solar job market. If people get the awareness and start participating in related solar training and solar courses offered by the private sectors and government, people can easily qualify for the green energy related jobs. There are several related courses such as photovoltaic (pv course), solar installation courses, etc. So, it is very important that you know completely about all these courses before hand.

The pv training course is also available through which a person can understand the technicalities of the solar related job and perform efficiently. Even the key leaders across the globe prefer to make huge investments in the solar energy, such kind of renewable energy training and solar energy courses will help the workers in getting back their lost jobs and that too not just any other job but a good paying one. Along with good payment, one also helps in preserving the environment and that makes it the most sought after job in the industry. The biggest component of the renewable energy courses is personal satisfaction that you will get for a job with discipline and added bonus of making an attempt to do something good and green for the whole world.

If you want to know about the training and the green career courses available, you can also do online research and you will find plenty of them. With varied possibilities and growth of solar industry day by day, the opportunities are expanding and that is making way for lots of people who wish to enter in this green world.

How Does Solar Power Work?

The basics of solar power.

Solar power is probably the cleanest, most viable form of renewable energy available and it can be used in several forms to help power your house. Many gardens now use solar lights or solar garden water features. The availability and wide use of solar power in gardens shows exactly how versatile it is as a source of energy. The technology and the systems are becoming smaller, more compact and better looking than when they were first created and used. Early examples of solar power systems can be seen in California where, in the 1980s, enough solar power panels were installed to power over 10 million homes.

How do photovoltaic tiles work?

Simply put photovoltaic tiles and other forms of solar energy work by converting some of the energy in sunlight into a clean form of electricity that can be used in our houses. The PV cells consist of a positive and a negative slice of silicon placed under a thin slice of glass. As the protons of the sunlight beat down onto the PV cell they knock the neutrons off the silicon. The negatively charged free neutrons are attracted to the silicon but are trapped by the magnetic field that is formed from the opposing fields. Small wires on the silicon catch these neutrons and when connected in a circuit an electric current is formed.

This reaction gives Direct Current electricity though, and it must be passed through an inverter to be converted into an Alternating Current used in our homes to power any electrical items. Some of the power is lost in this part of the process as the inverter is only around 95% efficient but this is a much greater efficiency than was once available.

The nature of the PV cell means there is little or no maintenance required and there are no moving parts; this means that a typical PV cell can last up to 40 years with no work besides an annual clean.

How can I use them to power my house?

There are several ways to use solar power around the house and not just for powering. You can use it to heat your hot water, heat your pool or even your central heating or if you have plenty of roof space and a reasonable amount of sun you can get a grid tie system; a grid tie system means that not only can you power your entire house but during those times when you create an excess of electricity you can sell it back to the grid. An efficiently solar powered home will be able to reasonably create between 75 and 100% of their own power and because of the grid tie system this means you may not have to pay for electricity ever again.

Solar Electric Energy Overview

Solar energy electric is created through the use of photovoltaic technology - converting sunlight to electricity. With the use of sun energy, photovoltaic systems are able to power simple electrical equipment such as computers and lights as well as household appliances.

The PV (photovoltaic) process transforms solar energy to solar power. Solar energy is lavish in its availability and is entirely free. A photovoltaic cell is made up of one thin layer of semi-conductor material, especially silicon. Exposure of silicone to light results in the production of electrical charges. Since a single cell generates a small amount of electrical output, several cells are connected to form a panel (also known as a module) by encapsulation. The principle building block of a photovoltaic system is the PV panel or module. Multiple modules can be connected to produce the required electrical output.

Since PV equipment does not come with any movable part, they generally need little or no maintenance. Solar energy electric generation is accomplished with the photovoltaic equipment without the emission of greenhouse as well as other gases. In fact, its entire operation is a silent one. This is why the solar power production is the safest and most noise-free energy around. This is a healthy development to our environment and wildlife, as opposed to other conventional techniques of energy production.

Photovoltaic Systems - What are They Used For?

Solar energy is supplied to many applications using the PV systems. These applications include systems supplying power to remote places far from the grid and systems supplying power to buildings in the city. These systems are equally connected to the conventional solar power network - especially in the United Kingdom. The important thing is that the solar energy produced by the photovoltaic system in the daytime can be consumed instantly or offered for sale to any of the electric power supply companies.

General Benefits of Solar Power

Generally, solar power is very beneficial both to the home user and the business person. It is a good alternative source of electric energy generation. The business owner who installs a solar panel in the office environment will no longer pay huge energy bills; instead, he can even decide to sell unused generated power to any of the electric power companies, thereby generating income from this investment.

The home solar energy user also obtains a similar benefit of saying good-bye to conventional electric power bills. Excess power generated can also be sold. Governments are also granting rebates to those who acquire solar energy panels to encourage more people to use this ideal power generation alternative. At the end of the day, your solar panel will generate funds to pay the cost used in acquiring it, and even leave you with extra income!

Solar energy is in abundance and cannot run in short supplies like the normal fuel or fossil. Besides, its generation process or technique does not pose any harm to humans, wildlife and the entire environment.
